HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO COMPLETE THE GEORGIA NAIL TECHNICIAN PROGRAM AT MARY NEGRON SCHOOL OF NAILS?
Our Georgia Nail Technology program can be completed in 30-40 weeks.
WHAT TYPE OF TRAINING DO STUDENTS RECEIVE AT MARY NEGRON SCHOOL OF NAILS, LLC?
Our students receive hands-on training in manicures, pedicures, acrylic & gel nails, tips & sculpted nails, nail art & MORE!!
WHAT IS THE TUITION COST FOR MARY NEGRON SCHOOL OF NAILS GA NAIL TECHNICIAN PROGRAM?
The tuition cost for our GA Nail Technician program is $4,999, application fee $100, deposit $450, and payment plans are available. All payments are Non-Refundable. It includes our online curriculum & learning platform, kit & supplies.
DO YOU ACCEPT FINANCIAL AID OR FAFSA?
No, we do not accept financial aid, however we do have a payment plan.
DO YOU OFFER A PAYMENT PLAN?
Yes. We offer weekly payments of $150.00 + 4% fee for a total of 30 weeks. ($156.00 due every week on Fridays by 11:59pm or a late fee of $50.00 will be automatically added)
DO I NEED ANY EXPERIENCE TO ENROLL?
Absolutely NOT! We love when our students come prepared to learn something completely new! Having a love of all things "Nails" is all we ask from our students to enroll.
WHAT ARE THE AGE REQUIREMENTS?
The state of Georgia requires potential students to be at least 17 years old to enroll with a high school diploma, GED, or transcript, and 18 years old to test for licensure.(Ask about our High School Dual Enrollment Program!)
CAN I GET A LICENSE 100% VIRTUALLY (ONLINE)?
The Georgia State Board of Cosmetology & Barbers has only approved online hours for the THEORY portion of the Nail Technology Course. (140 Hours)
The only way a student can attend 100% virtual AND receive the hours needed to get a license, is if the student has transfer hours from another institution (cosmetology or nail technician program) that equal up to (385 hours) of hands-on. Please contact us if you have any questions.
WHAT HOLIDAYS ARE RECOGNIZED AT MNSON?
MNSON is closed in observance of certain holidays, including:
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
Memorial Day
Juneteenth
1st week of July
Labor Day
Thanksgiving
Christmas
Winter Break
New Years Eve & Day
MNSON reserves the right to close its doors for any reason.
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
TOPS
- MNSON T-Shirts, BLACK scrub tops, MNSON Sweaters can be worn over MNSON T-shirts, Solid black long sleeve shirts may be worn under a short sleeve top
- Name badges must always be worn and visible above the waist
Bottoms
- Classic solid black scrub pants only
- Bottoms must hit the top of the shoe
- No jeans allowed
Shoes
- Must be closed-toed, rubber soled, and in good condition
- Sandals, boots, Ugg’s, rain boot, clogs, moccasins, heels, etc . Will not be permitted
- MNSON recommends athletic sneakers
- No CROCS allowed AT ALL!
DO YOU OFFER TUTORING?
Yes, we do offer tutoring as needed. There is an additional cost for tutoring, but our curriculum is set up in such a way tutoring is not usually needed. We have a systematic methodology to our educational process – we make learning FUN
DO YOU NETWORK AND DO YOU OFFER JOB PLACEMENT?
Yes, we have a very active placement department and we believe networking with industry leaders is vital to our present students’ ability to be placed upon graduation. While we do not promise job placement, we connect students with potential employers and assist with resumes and audition skills.
